What Should I Do With The Pairing Code?

Overview

When installing the Catalog Application on a new device, a 6-character pairing code will be displayed on the screen:

The pairing code is used to activate the new device. The steps below provide instructions on what to do with the pairing code:

 

 

Instructions

Step 1

In a web browser (preferably Google Chrome) visit http://ashley.catalogkiosk.com

Step 2

Navigate to Devices page:

Step 3

Type the 6-digit pairing code in the "Activate New Device" window on the "Devices" Tab.

Also, choose a name for the device that can be used to identify the kiosk. There are no restrictions or rules regarding naming the device.

Step 4

Once the device is successfully activated, the device will appear in the "Device Status" Window. All active devices will be displayed in this window.

Please Note: If the device is offline, the catalog is still functional except for updates, email, and text messaging features.

 

 

Step 5

After a few moments, the kiosk will display a message advising no products have been assigned:

To assign products, navigate to the "Products & Pricing" tab in the Catalog App Manager:

Step 6

On the bottom right corner of the page, click "Select All"

Step 7

The kiosk will now download all the products and images:

Step 8

 The Kiosk’s “Attractor Screen” will now be displayed, and the Kiosk will be fully operational.
